Biochemistery
Biochemistry is the analysis of the chemical components of blood plasma, such as enzymes and hormones. Biochemistry blood tests can allow the vet to evaluate the function of organs such as the kidneys, liver and pancreas. Repeat testing is often carried out to monitor a pet’s reaction to medication and assess their response to treatment. Our in-house biochemistry analyzer allows us to rapidly diagnose the patient’s condition, which may be critical in a time sensitive situation.
