Reproductive conditions
Reproductive conditions can occur in both males and females, however are perhaps more common in females. Some common reproductive diseases that we commonly treat are false pregnancies, pyometra (uterine infection), mastitis, testicular tumours and prostate tumours. Some reproductive conditions can be life threatening if left untreated, such as pyometra. The risk of your pet developing a reproductive disease can be significantly reduced, if not eliminated by neutering. Please read our article on pet neutering for more benefits of a neutered pet.
