Vomiting and Diarrhoea
Vomiting and Diarrhoea are symptoms of a number of medical conditions, ranging from a viral or bacterial infection to a foreign body. A very common cause of vomiting and diarrhea in puppies is Parvovirus. Parvovirus is a highly contagious viral illness that affects mainly puppies between the ages of six weeks and six months. Vomiting and diarrhoea can lead to dehydration and the patient should be monitored closely. If symptoms persist the patient will need to be admitted and given intravenous fluids. If you pet is exhibiting vomiting or diarrhea we recommend that you contact your vet as soon as possible.
